One of our favorite bands here at the American Rock Scene is the Deftones so it is extremely difficult to tell you that we lost Chi today. We always hoped he would recover from the accident and rock our faces again. Chi didn’t make it….his heart stopped beating at 3AM this morning.

his is really tough news to report. Clive Burr, the drummer on one of our favorite albums of all time “Number Of The Beast” has passed away. He was just 56 and had been engaged in a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Without a doubt, the drums on Number Of The Beast are legendary, no doubt causing air drummers world wide to flail their arms. You were a great one Clive….you will sorely missed.
